Ed Landauer Endowment

Ed Landauer Endowment

Ed Landauer received degrees from Portland State University, Montana State University, and the University of Central Florida. He joined the Navy in 1978 and left active duty four years later as a Lieutenant. In 1988, he came to Clackamas Community College, teaching engineering and quality science. He earned the rank of Captain in the Naval Reserve, at one time commanding one of the largest groups of engineers in the country.

Always a keen student of leadership, Ed established the Ed Landauer Endowment in 1996 to fund scholarships for CCC students who show engineering leadership potential. Just as the Navy recognized Ed’s leadership ability and provided for his graduate education in engineering, Ed wanted to provide opportunities for future generations of engineering leaders through Clackamas Community College.
