Herb and Betty Morris Endowment

Herb and Betty Morris Endowment

Reverend Herb Morris was a member of the committee established to create the Clackamas Community College District and served as chairman of the college’s first Board of Education from 1966 to 1968. Herb was pastor of several churches in the community, most recently the Canby United Methodist Church. After his retirement from active ministry, Herb became Executive Director of the Can by Chamber of Commerce. Herb has served on the CCC Foundation Board of Directors since 1988, and Herb and Betty continue to be active in the college’s fund-raising efforts. The Herb & Betty Morris Endowment was established by their son John in 1991.

The Herb and Betty Morris Endowment provides annual tuition assistance to one or more graduates of the Family Resource Center who elect to continue their education at Clackamas Community College.
