Jilda B. Danielson Endowment

As a young girl growing up in Tillamook, Jilda knew she wanted to be a teacher. She was the first of her family to earn a college degree and feels that “Every child should be excited to go to school and learn.”

Jilda believes that well-prepared teachers have a broad and long-reaching influence on students. Her belief led her to establish the Jilda B. Danielson Early Childhood Education Endowment at Clackamas Community College.

Jilda is committed to giving back to her community. She is involved in the community through Oregon City Woman’s Club and supports numerous community projects in addition to supporting students attending Clackamas Community College. Jilda’s endowment will help provide tuition to students studying early childhood education who plan to earn a four-year degree in education.
