Karl and Diane Wustrack

Diane was from Seattle and focused on obtaining her Masters Degree in Teaching. Karl was a native of Portland, Oregon studying pre-med. Their paths crossed in a botany lab as students at Stanford University in 1964.

They married and raised their family in West Linn. He is a self-employed physician; she is a retired teacher for the West Linn/Wilsonville School District. Together they raised three successful daughters while also making enduring contributions to the community. Karl has performed volunteer surgery around the world as part of Northwest Medical Teams as well as serving Rotoplast and Healing the Children. Diane has served on the boards of the West Linn/Wilsonville School and Edison School boards and the foundation boards of both Willamette Falls Hospital and Clackamas Community College.

The Karl and Diane Wustrack Endowment will provide funds for a student who is pursuing an education as a Medical Assistant.

Impact

This opportunity will allow me to have my full dedication to maintain good grades in my next school year. After completing my prerequisites at CCC, I am seeking to transfer to PSU where I would like to pursue, either a Nursing Career or a Medical Career. ~ Maria
