Tiffany Berg Adamson Memorial Scholarship
Tiffany was known for her compassion. As a student at Clackamas Community College (1993-1995), she worked in the counseling center putting other students at ease as they struggled with class schedules, filling out forms and standing in lines. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Portland State University in 1999, and went on to be a dedicated “speech teacher.” Always warm and friendly, Tiffany helped her students be the best they could be. Tiffany was diagnosed with breast cancer at 27 years old, a few months after her beloved son was born.
The Tiffany Berg Adamson Scholarship will support nursing students in Tiffany’s memory. It is a tribute to the comfort and compassion she received from those who cared for her, but ultimately to her respect for education.
Impact
My dream job would be to work as a nurse in a cardiology unit. This scholarship will greatly help me to achieve these goals. ~ Jenna
