William F Hargadine Memorial Endowment

Bill Hargadine came to Clackamas Community College in 1969 as a social science and physical education instructor. Bill went on to become one of the most highly respected athletic coaches in the Northwest, coaching football, track, soccer, and intramural sports at CCC. He subsequently served as Coordinator of Special Programs, Director of Community Services, Associate Dean of Community Services, Dean of Instructional Support Services, and Assistant Dean of the Business Division. Bill also served as executive director of the CCC Foundation, and remained active in college fundraising efforts until his death in 1993. Bill is fondly remembered by colleagues for his warmth, wit, and humor, which served him well in his role as master of ceremonies at CCC’s annual staff recognition banquet.

The William F. Hargadine Memorial Endowment provides annual tuition assistance to a new or
returning student active in the field of athletics at Clackamas Community College.
