Briare Family Endowed Humanities Scholarship

Purpose: Funds from this endowment will benefit scholarships to students who are pursuing an education in arts and/or sciences. Bill’s career at Clackamas Community College began in 1988 when he was hired as a part-time instructor in religious studies. In 1996 he was hired on as full-time faculty. In 2005, Bill became Dean of Arts and Sciences. This endowment was established by Bill and Barbara Briare to honor Bill’s father after his passing. The elder Briare was the Mayor of Las Vegas for three terms: Mayor Bill Briare.

Applicant must:
-Have a 2.5 GPA
-6 or more credits per term
